Gather is our church's app for staying in touch with each other. These rules keep it a good and safe place for everyone. By signing in you agree to them. The German version is the binding one.

2. Who may use Gather
- Gather is for members of our church and people connected with it. Whoever approves accounts at the church learns of each new account and can remove it.
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- Give your real name and your correct date of birth. The rules that protect children and young people depend on it.
- Each person has one account, and nobody pretends to be someone else.
3. How we treat each other
Gather has zero tolerance for objectionable content and for people who harass others. In particular, it is not allowed to:
- post anything that breaks the law;
- insult, threaten, bully, expose or pressure others;
- spread hatred, incitement or contempt, for example because of origin, gender, disability or faith;
- share sexual, pornographic or violent content, and any form of sexual approach to minors;
- pass on other people's photos, videos, voice messages or messages without their consent;
- send advertising, chain letters, spam or malware;
- get around the protection rules, for example to write to minors alone as an adult.
4. Reporting and stepping in
If something harasses or worries you, report it in the app: press and hold the message and choose Report, or report a person, group or channel in their info. You can also tell someone at your church you trust, or write to hallo@gather.paiss.me. The moderators deal with it within 24 hours. You can also block anyone who harasses you.
The people responsible can remove content and restrict or suspend accounts of anyone who breaks these rules, and exclude people who post such content from Gather. Where children or young people are at risk, we inform the competent authorities.
5. Your content
What you send belongs to you, and you are responsible for it. So that Gather works, you allow us to store it, process it and deliver it to the people you send it to. How long we keep what is in the privacy policy.
6. What Gather offers
Gather is free. We do a lot to keep Gather reliable and your data safe, but we can't promise that it is always available or that no data is ever lost. Gather is not a replacement for emergency numbers.
7. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise we are not liable, since Gather is free of charge; mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
8. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time, in the app's settings or on the Delete your account page. Anyone who breaks these rules can be suspended or excluded.
9. Changes
If we change these terms, we tell you in the app beforehand. If you keep using Gather afterwards, the new terms apply.
10. Law
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in remain unaffected.
